Whales are the largest mammal of the animal kingdom..so as their mouth..when they open their large mouth to eat fishes, large plastics can easily make a way through their mouth to stomach where plastics are not digested but causes infection and death.. 30 plastic bags were found in stomach of one whale in autopsy..
This is the fish that we eat.. But there is one more thing we are eating with this -- PLASTIC After weathering plastic trash turns into small pieces of plastics which seems to be similar to plancktons in water and mistakenly taken as food by fishes..and we are indirectly eating the plastic..
1 in 3 of turtle deaths occures from eating plastics.. This much of plastic was found in stomach of a single turtle found off the coast of Argentina.. Turtles take plastic mistaken as their prey and that plastic causes infection in the stomach and consequently death.. (pictures and data internet)
Turtles sometimes feed on jellyfish.. But a floating plastic bag and a jellyfish look so alike that a turtle cannot differentiate between them and feed on plastic bags instead of jellyfish..nowadays as plastics are found more frequntly than jellyfish in the ocean that turtles mostly encounter with plastics..( photos from internet )
Coral reefs serves a flourishing ecosystem under water..so many colours of corals and the mesmorising colourful fishes with large variety of animals living with it makes it nothing less than a heaven.. An underwater heaven.. But these are living small animals anchoring the rocks..and like other animals they can't survive being suffocated by the plastics in the ocean bed..😢😢 Our piece of heaven on earth is becoming graveyard overtime..from colourful to pale..😞😟
Seahorses naturally stay clinged to sea-grasses as shown in the first picture..but these little animals also could not avoid the adverse effect of increasing plastic concentration in ocean..proofs are these pictures of seahorses clinging to plastic cotton bud and plastic piece mistaken as sea grass by these little ones.. (photos collected from internet)
(left) what is natural.. (right) what is not right.. Adult turtle is struggling for nesting due to the plastic garbage on the sea beach sand.. Little turtles pushing themselves hard to get out of the plastic piles to reach the sea..( little turtles are almost invisible in the plastic piles ) A large number of little turtles fail to get themselves out of the plastic piles and die.. We have not right to snach their natural rights..do we?? (photo source facebook page of BBC EARTH and internet)
Adult sea turtles lay eggs on the sea beach in the sand..they build their nest by spreading the sand with their flippers..and there they lay eggs..little ones coming out of the eggs crawl out of the sand and crawl run towards the sea.. So damn fascinating... but horror is in the next post.. (photos from internet)
This so sad that our ethical beauty is also polluted by plastics...😣 Swan pairs craving for plastic not knowing the pathetic consequences of this in their life..
Sea-birds taking plastic as food as they can't differentiate between the two of them..this indicates the level of density of plastic leaked in the environment.. (photo source internet)
Whales, sharks, dolphines all these marine animals thrive on small fishes but with increasing plastics in ocean forced them to include plastics in their diet.. Pathetic😷😞.. We should do something..don't we?? (picture source internet)
